Cardi B (Belcalis Almánzar) is a rapper from The Bronx, New York. She first became known through social media and the TV show Love & Hip Hop: New York.
Known for
"Bodak Yellow" (2017) made her the first solo female rapper since Lauryn Hill to top the Billboard Hot 100. Her debut Invasion of Privacy (2018) won the Grammy for Best Rap Album, a first for a solo woman. "WAP" with Megan Thee Stallion (2020) was another record-breaking hit.
